For 7 night cruises you will be told wether you will do the North Cruise or the South cruise, this will depend on where the ship is located at the time, if you can change your date by 7 days then you can choose wether you do the north or the south cruise!
Yasawa Princess Maldives ITINERARY Cruise 1 (North Cruise)
Day 1 Monday: Arrival to Male, Dhoni transfer to the MV Yasawa Princess. Late afternoon leisurely cruise to Kuda Bandos.
Day 2 Tuesday: Snorkelling, swimming and sunbathing at Kuda Bandos. Evening underwater marine slide show followed by bridge and card games. There will be a check dive in the morning plus an afternoon dive for Scuba Divers. Late afternoon cruise to Giraavaru.
Day 3 Wednesday: Early in the morning cruise to Velidhu. Visit the island for swimming and sunbathing. Bar and Spa facilities are available on the island. For divers there is 1 local dive in the morning and 1 in the afternoon. Night fishing trip. Evening competition for the best photograph of the day above and underwater.
Day 4 Thursday: Sail to the desert island Meerufen Fushi. Spend the day snorkelling, sunbathing or watching the fish from the glass-bottomed boat. Divers will have 2 dives.
Day 5 Friday: Cruise to Sand Bank for swimming and sunbathing. In the afternoon take a visit to local island Hagnameedhoo for sightseeing and shopping. Both morning and afternoon dives for divers. Captain’s dinner in the evening.
Day 6 Saturday: Visit to the picnic island of Dhiggiri. Spend the day snorkelling, sunbathing or watching the fish from the glass-bottomed boat. Picnic lunch and evening BBQ. Divers will have 2 dives.
Day 7 Sunday: Return to Male for shopping and sightseeing. Slide show of the best photographs of the week.
Day 8 Monday: After a leisurely breakfast, transfer by dhoni back to the airport for international departure flight.
Yasawa Princess Maldives ITINERARY Cruise 2 (South Cruise)
Day 1 Monday: Arrive Male and transfer to the Yasawa Princess. Late afternoon cruise to Maniyafushi.
Day 2 Tuesday: Snorkelling, swimming and sunbathing at the Sandbank near Maniyafushi. In the afternoon cruise to local island Maafushi for shopping and sightseeing. Evening underwater marine slide show followed by bridge and card games. There will be a check dive in the morning plus an afternoon dive for Scuba Divers.
Day 3 Wednesday: Sail to the desert island Maadhoo Finolhu. Spend the day snorkelling, sunbathing or watching the fish from the glass-bottomed boat. Night Fishing. Divers will have 2 dives.
Day 4 Thursday: Cruise to the Sand Bank for swimming and sunbathing. In the afternoon take visit to local island Mahibadhoo for sightseeing and shopping. Divers will have 2 dives.
Day 5 Friday: Visit to the picnic island of Rah Dhigga. Swimming and sunbathing morning and afternoon. Evening BBQ. Both am and pm diving for divers.
Day 6 Saturday: Cruise to desert island Theluveligaa for swimming, snorkelling and sunbathing. Glassed bottom boat rides in the afternoon to see fish and corals. Picnic lunch and Captains dinner. 2 morning dives for divers.
Day 7 Sunday: Return to Male’ for shopping and sightseeing. Slide show of the best photographs of the week.
Day 8 Monday: After a leisurely breakfast, transfer by dhoni back to the airport for international departure flight.
Travel Itinerary:
Two separate 7 days cruises are available on the ship. Cruise 1 takes in the Islands to the north the Male. Cruise 2 takes in the islands to the south of Male. So you can take a 7 or 14 day cruise visiting different islands on each cruise. You can join the ship on a Sunday to Sunday basis or Monday to Monday, the only difference to the itinerary is that the Sunday to Sunday customers will visit Male on a Monday Morning while the Monday to Monday customers will visit Male on the Sunday afternoon. All transfer times from the airport to the ship will be less than 1 hour by boat.
Yasawa Princess Ship Information
Yasawa Princess was purpose built in 1987 and refurbished in 2007 to cruise the Pacific Ocean islands of Fiji. Today, the ship cruises the Indian Ocean islands of the Maldives. At 180 feet long and 35 feet wide, the Yasawa Princess can carry 66 passengers and 25 crew. Dress code is shorts and swimwear during the day and casual dress in the evenings both on board and on the deserted islands
Cabins
33 compact, non-smoking air-conditioned cabins are spread over three decks, all simply furnished with double bed or two singles, wooden accented furniture, en suite shower with WC, air conditioning, personal safe and 240V power outlet. Main Deck cabins have a porthole. Cabins on A and Bridge Deck have a deck window.
Facilities
On the Saloon Deck, there is a large air-conditioned lounge with soft furnishings and big screen television for viewing DVDs and client downloaded camera images, a sundeck with sun loungers, and undercover bar and dining area with panoramic opening windows to can enjoy the desert island views framed against the azure sea. The ship offers buffet-style meals with international cuisine.
Self-service washing and drying facilities are available on-board. There is a photo shop and souvenir corner. A first-aid kit is kept on board. Smoking is not permitted in the cabins, or any enclosed area of the ship. A smoking area is available on the aft Bridge Deck.

The well designed cabins all match the brilliant display of quality found throughout the Yasawa Princess. On the Main deck you will find 12 fully air-conditioned cabins hosting double or twin beds for your requirements and at an average size of 13 square metres equal to 142 square feet, these are extremely spacious. Ensuite bathrooms can be found in each and wonderful porthole views of the Maldives add to the tranquility of your private quarters. Yasawa Princess supplies you with all the necessary conveniences enhanced by a warm and softly furnished interior, which is continued through to the A deck.
A further 14 cabins can be found on A the deck. These are also fully air-conditioned and decorated in warm colours creating a sense of total seclusion. Double or twin beds furnish the rooms and a deck window offering superb sea views of the Indian Ocean is found in all. The average size of each cabin is 11 square metres or 117 square feet and again ensuite bathrooms are found throughout.
Another 7 cabins are found on Bridge Deck with all being fully air-conditioned and measuring out at an average of 10.5 square metres or 115 square feet. Double or Twin beds are available and carefully arranged furnishings make your private area luxuriously comfortable. Ensuite bathrooms with all the necessary amenities grace each cabin and with Indian Ocean views from the deck windows, this only adds to the wonderful holiday atmosphere.

You will find the Lower Main Deck of the Yasawa home to 12 fully air-conditioned cabins spaciously designed and perfectly laid out.
